Michael Washburn began consulting in 1976, after 12 years as an advertising account executive with Dancer-Fitzgerald-Sample and then as executive director of two nonprofit international affairs agencies. An expert in communications and marketing, Mr. Washburn designs and facilitates board and staff trainings, retreats, and planning meetings. Mr. Washburn serves on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, New York Chapter. He earned a BA from Harvard College in social psychology and an MPA in public policy and international affairs from Princeton’s Woodrow Wilson School. He lives in New York.
