Lynn Lazar | Research Consultant
Lynn Lazar is a pioneer in the prospect research field. Beginning in 1992, Lynn served as the Director of Philanthropic Research for the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (Newark, NJ), where she created and managed the prospect research office and oversaw the research needs for its $200 million capital campaign and $11.5 million annual campaign. Ms. Lazar expanded her expertise when she left NJPAC in 2004 to lead the research department for a public university. Her work for SMC comprises fundraising and board development research for a variety of clients. She is a Member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA) International and served as President of the New Jersey chapter for six years. She has been a featured speaker on prospect research at many fundraising conferences in the tri-state area. Ms. Lazar received a BA in speech and theater from Fairleigh Dickinson University and lives in Wayne, NJ.
